Experiment...
Hey guys! so it's summer and I've been working out pretty regularly and running 3 or 4 days a week. Well with this extra free time I've had to do stuff like cleaning, and I found this book called 8 minutes in the morning by Jorge Cruise. It has this workout plan for 28 days that guarantees weight loss. I actually started this 3 days ago and today was day 4 for the daily workout plan. I've also stuck pretty well to 120 calories and I've been decreasing in weight, and I should hit my goal any day now! So exciting I know!! Anyway, it's now been 6 months since I've started this and it's turned out pretty great!! 50 pounds in 6 months is not bad at all. Now just another 20 and I'll be to the point where I don't want to lose weight anymore. 23 pounds? We can do this!

SUMMER!
Ok so last time I posted it was the last month of school. Well, it is now Thursday June 2nd, A.K.A., the 6th day of summer!! AHHH!!!! haha ok ok I'll get to the good parts. Me and my running partner have been running, but she has left for a camp thing for a week or 2 :/ oh well!! I have a back up (: ok so last you heard I was 9 pounds away from my 50 pound mark. well, I am now 3 pounds away!!!! I know I know.... not quite there but hey atleast it's not like 5 pounds or something! haha gotta be optimistic right? ok next. So when I started, I was a size 18 pants size, and XL or 1X in shirts. Well I am proud tgo say I can fit in my sis's old clothes which are size 14!!! haha they're just a little long (; but hey I'm not complaining. Also, yesterday was me and by bf's 2 month anniversary. Cute right?? haha he bought me a shirt that I wanted and guess what!?!? It was a SMALL! I know right!? It definitely made my day ((: I am enjoying how my body is turning out. I have size 12 jeans that I have yet to get in to (but not for too much longer) and lots of support from family and friends to keep me going (: Well.. I think that's all for now! BYE!!

Almost There!!
Ok so if you havent noticed under the results page, I am only 9 POUNDS away from my goal!! This is the last stretch to my final 50 pounds. Exciting isnt it?! So yea it feels great, but I'm not done yet! After I lose the last of my 50 pounds, I want to continue so I am down to 140 which is another 17 pounds. Just another short term goal, and it will put me in the healthy weight range. After I reach that goal (my time goal is by the end of the summer), I will increase my calorie intake to about 1400 to 1500 calories so I don't keep losing weight. For my exercise, you already know I have a running buddy, but I am hoping to continue tennis too. I want to join a league for the summer to get me ready for next year. that way I'll have some more experience and play varsity again next year!
So this is probably the last time I'll blog before the summer. Oh well, 3 weeks isn't too long. But I have to study for all my final exams. I'll still be tracking my weight so you can see it in the results page.

Slowly But Surely
So it has been 2 weeks since I last wrote anything, and I just wanted to say that things have been a little slow lately, I haven't been gaining or losing anything. Hopefully I can get that to change by adding a little more exercise now that tennis is over. Yesterday I walked the dogs, and got on my exercise bike. Doing things like these everyday help. Something I am going to try to do is learn to dance. I just had prom over the weekend (I went with my boyfriend) and I can't dance at all. I am too white to dance. So I've resolved myself to learn in the next 3 weeks, because apparently he'll be dragging me out to the dance floor the whole time when we go to his prom. Excited? yes. But nervous? even more so.

Nothing But Progress
Wow so it's been a long time since I've posted anything and thought I would just update this. So much stuff has been happening with school that, well, I forgot about this blog that I told myself I would stick to. That's ok because I am back and ready to keep blogging!
So as an update.
1. I joined my school's tennis team, wich is a hard work out. I mean 4 days a week! it's insane, but sadly the season is just about over. ): I am excited for all the wonderful friends I made, and I can't wait to practice all summer so I will be even better next year.
2. I have reached my long-term goal of 30 pounds! at last! it feels great! I have been using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ to track my food, and yes, there is an app for it. Just tracking 1200 calories a day helps tremendously. I put the tracker under the progress section of my blog so you can see how I am doing.
3. Inspiration to keep going. Now that I have reached my goal, and half way point, it is hard to stay on track. i have found someone who is willing to give up chocolate to do this with me (: (she's a great friend). Plus, I have found a running partner for this summer, and we will be doing P90x too (biggest challenge yet). I am excited for everything that is going on, and all that will be happening.
4. Birthday cake. So I dread the spring for 2 reasons. one, pollen. Allergies are the worst this time of year which makes it harder to get out and do stuff. Also, birthdays. In my family, most people appened to be born in the spring. Yesterday (March 31st) was my birthday! and I am now officially 17. In less than 2 weeks wil be my sister's birthday, and less than 2 weeks after that is my dad's birthday. that is A LOT of cake. i have a huge sweet-tooth, so I have to learn to have a small piece and that's it. I wish this was the case. Once I have something sweet, I crave sugar for about a week. This is the worst week of my life.

school, band, and cooking
So I updated the cooking portion of my blog, (we had chicken pasta parmesian with applesauce and broccoli) and I'm about ready to go to bed. I had marching band practice after school and came home where I was SUPPOSED to cook dinner, but didn't. My dad did. I will cook dinner tomorrow night haha.. Anyways, umm.. yea I had a good day at school and marching band was fun :) I don't have time to log all that I eat, But I basically have the same thing every day.. cereal in the morning around 90 calories, a lunch consisting of a turkey and mozarella sandwich (sometimes pb&j), fruit ( apples, grapes, peaches, plums, etc.), and usually either baked cheetohs or the 100 calorie packs of pringles. Yea that's about all... I'm tired and think I'll go to bed now :) goodnight all
